About the current issue
The scope of English Studies as a discipline in ever widening allowing various multi-trans-disciplinary interfaces. A scholar or the faculty dealing with English Studies is, in fact having a set of dialogues with many domains which has implications. It has gone beyond the language, literature and pedagogy and entered a terrain requires rigorous critical inquiry.
If this be the contemporary scenario of the discipline, it is wise to address issues pertaining to various domains within and contouring English Studies. The forthcoming issue of IJHTE expects papers that place such domains in the larger perspective of English studies and offer a domain-specific-discourse.
