Why Peer Review
Peer review is a process of quality check. In the peer review process, the research papers are evaluated by the expert in the concerned area of study for the authenticity and validity of the research for publication. It is the process which helps in maintaining the quality standards of research. Below given are some of the things evaluated:
- Whether the research works falls in the defined area/s of the journal.
- The originality of the idea/s
- Formation and explanation of the research idea with evidence/s
- The scholarly contribution of the work
In the Indian context, the journals with peer review process have been approved as authentic journals by University Grant Commission. Hence a paper published in the peer reviewed journal is valid for academic scores/credits.

Peer Review Process of IJHTE
Following is the peer review process of IJHTE:
- The research paper/s received will be first checked by the editorial board of IJHTE for plagiarism and the criteria mentioned in the guidelines for publishing paper/s in IJHTE.
- If the paper is found original and meeting the criteria of the guidelines, then the paper will be sent to two reviewers. It will be double-blind review process. The identity of the author/s and the reviewer/s will not be disclosed to one another.
- Once the reviewers submit the review report of the paper and, if there is any suggestion, the author will be asked to revise it accordingly in the given time.
- Once the author submits the revised draft, it will be processed and published in IJHTE and the author will be intimated about it.
